fashion pop was a great experience and it was a wonderful show (i hear). i had FUN and met some new designers, who jon and i can't wait to hang out with. thanks to everyone who came out, it meant a lot to me just to show my work in public and i have had a great response. i found the pictures below on flicker by ming wu.

meet bill, the toad

well no one could correctly guess my new studio mate's pet, nice try though everybody. i'm calling him bill murray. it would probably have been my very last guess as well...who keeps a toad at their studio???

FASHION POP

so i'm gonna be in this fashion show tomorrow. if you are in montreal please come see, it's free. oh and my johnny's in it too. oh and there is a cash prize for 'the winner' ($1000) oh AND one of the judges is denis gagnon!! talk about pressure.... good thing there is a cocktail party before hand, i'm gonna need something to calm my nerves. it's gonna be a fun party, did i mention the dj is mr. roland pemberton the third?!

magic fabric

i bought some very magical fabric to make holiday dresses this christmas season. can you believe it? silver sequins turn gold when you touch them.

my very first look book, i'm so very happy. i didn't do a real book for the last 2 collections because i was always designing in season but now that i've decided to jump ahead. here it is, magic no. 3

i can't find anymore information than what is here craft but seems like by feeding silkworms fluorescent dye mixed with mulberry mixture they are creating a permanent fluorescent silk fabric. holy shit. i have mixed feelings. excitement and terror. what's next?

blondie

yup after 10 years!! of keeping it real with my dark dark brown hair i have gone blonde! it hurt and it won't last long but it is fun, i get honked at X3 on my walk to work...... that's fun right? seriously though, what colour should i put in it before i dye it back? i'm thinking pink and purple or maybe smurf blue worn with bright red lipstick???
