sunday frittata

being on a cleanse can be wonderful. i don't usual do food blog stuff but cooking with rules can be fun. a jalapeño pepper and cilantro frittata.

INSTRUCTIONS:
layer sliced potatoes with olive oil at bottom of heart shaped pan, add sautéed peppers and onions in the middle and top with a four egg, soy milk and cilantro mixture (beaten). sprinkle top with salt, pepper and paprika. cook at 350 F for 30 minutes. serve with hot green tea and ginger.

crystal habit

waxed cotton in a crystal shape made with custom hardware and a raw leather detachable strap. top closes with metal eyelets and a leather drawstring, the bottom zips off for a special compartment. inside top has it's own cotton drawstring liner with a zippered pocket, a patch pocket and a leather keychain cord.

rapture dance party

i went to the very first mood management party on the evening of the rapture, it was awesome but these pictures are from the after party. as in after we jumped a fence and after we did some shots and after we found ourselves in some weird desolate pub with the most amazing lazer light dance floor.







this is exactly how i pictured the end of the world.

crisp and thin black goat leather with a black rabbit fur trim and decorated with ruby red Swarovski crystals and antique gold flat studs. inside is a warm thin grey melton wool lining and a melton wool insert backed with leather and silkscreened with my label.



the soles are a tough black cow hide with an added heel. meant for indoors and will last you a long time.




don't worry mum the tattoo was drawn on with a marker by jon to make the slippers look more fierce.

you're invited to a party

i threw my lover a little birthday dance party on sunday. this is basically the only useable photo. i shouldn't try to operate a camera under the influence. elizabeth made this gorgeous chocolate cake. it was fun, we danced all night thanks to our dj's rp3 and dan swildlee (aka jon).

D-I-WHY?????

i have finally decided to buy some professionally waxed cotton instead of doing it myself. it is made in new york city by the same family for seven generations. they only use food and pharmaceutical grade wax, and is completely non-hazardous. It saves me a lot of time and i have been using it for bags and vests (coming soon).



the wax finish makes it water and soil repellent. if it gets dirty you don't wash or dry clean just sponge off with a wet cloth. As you wear the bag in it will develop a beautiful aged patina. it is very stiff and holds it's shape well.



i also recently got some hardware custom made for me by gothic punk hardware on etsy. their stuff is really wild but they were willing to do some simple small triangle hooks that i could not find in metal ANYWHERE and done in black - no more spray painting!





moral of this story is: why do it yourself when you can pay a little more to have others wax and spray coat the materials you need to work with? saves time and probably my lungs.
